(Not a story, my actual life)

I experience sleep paralysis almost every single I fall asleep after the sun comes out. It starts off normal, I’m tired so I try falling asleep normally. I start thinking of crazy things, sometimes hearing things, but they’re not that strong or significant so I play it off. Then, when I enter dream state, things go off fine in the dream. But here’s where things start to get weird..

I could be talking to somebody or a group of people, and all of a sudden everybody goes mute. They are speaking but no audio is coming out their mouths. At this point i know it’s coming so I brace myself for what’s about to come. Somehow I leave dream state and I’m back into the real world and I’m frozen and paralyzed whilst being able to see every thing I would if I was just laying on my bed. I try getting up, but a demon is pushing me down, and down, and down. Until eventually, I overpower whatever’s keeping me down and I escape the paralysis. After this, I recite a verse of the Quran on myself and then the sleep paralysis goes away and I fall asleep normally without the sleep paralysis. ( I know anti Muslims will read this so I ask you if the Quran isn’t real how come it cures me of my sleep paralysis every single time?)

Anyways I truly think a demon is watching me trying to mess with me. Sometimes I even hear whispers of some demons, and another time I entered sleep paralysis and while I woke up a heard a demon literally SCREAMING into my ear. This is some of the most scary things I have to deal with almost on a daily basis.

as a muslim only happened once to me, its all in youre mind. If you stay calm you will instantly wake up. When it happened to me i wasnt scared, i just closed my eyes and started reading every single prayer i knew. Then i just woke up sweaty and shaking

ive had sleep paralysis before and its not some fucking demons you moron, its science, your body is awake as your brain is still in a rem period of sleep and therefore you remain paralysed because in that state of sleep our body paralyses us so we dont act out our dreams, and the Quran doesn't fix anything bro you simply exit that state of sleep, if it was real it'd stop you from experiencing it on a daily basis

the prayers didn't do anything your body realised it was awake but in a rem state so it exited the rem state and you were able to move.

We're different and it's perfectly fine, let me believe that the prayers helped me, this is why religions exist

i used to be muslim it’s a load of shit you can directly look at the scientific reasons for things but you choose to look towards a book instead lol

I respect you're opinion, but I'm just a strong believer, and no matter what science says I will keep believing

its science

Oh yeah? Its science?

You really wanna tell me demonic beings screaming into my ear is “just science bro”

Voices that you wouldn’t be able to comprehend is “just science bro”

You probably also believe love is just chemicals in our brains and attachment isn’t real

I expierence the sleep paralysis on a daily basis because demonic beings aren’t going to just leave you alone. Every human being has a demonic beings attached to them, and you cannot rid yourself 100% from it. One of the tests of this life is from the demonic beings

During REM (Rapid Eye Movement) sleep, your brain is highly active dreams are vivid, but your body is paralyzed by a mechanism in your brainstem (specifically the pons and medulla) that blocks motor signals. This paralysis is normal and protective so you don’t start acting out your dreams. Sometimes, though, you regain partial consciousness before your brain turns your body back on. In that inbetween state, your sensory system is still influenced by dream logic, but your eyes are open and your brain starts trying to make sense of your surroundings, your brain still thinks it’s in a state of sleep. That’s when hallucinations kick in: your amygdala (the fear center) is firing because you’re confused and vulnerable, and your brain may project threatening sounds or figures (like a scream or a presence) to explain your immobility. It feels real because the brain is doing exactly what it does during dreams—except now you’re half awake and aware. The “jinn” is just your own brain, glitching between two modes of consciousness, stop being retarded and use some common sense bro, if you wake up in sleep paralysis, and you’re calm and relaxed and say to yourself “it’s sleep paralysis” and start trying to wiggle your toes and fingers you’ll get out of it in under 30 seconds, it’s happened to me countless times except i’m not a dumb fuck so i can actually get out of it without going through scary hallucinations, which you go through because you have the preconceived notion of a demon that’s haunting you.

and also yes love is chemical reactions, so is attachment. We love a person based on multiple factors, whether we are attracted to that person, whether we have a long duration of shared tribulations with that person, or whether we’ve had a bond with a person. attachment is also biology. lmao
