Began finasteride about 3 months ago. When I started finasteride, the scalp show was bearly visible at the crown and there was little recession at temples (norwood 1 with vertex). Now I'm a solid Norwood 2 with the vertex about the size of an apple. Any time I run my fingers through my hair I'll have 3-4 hairs fall out. Probably lose over 100 hairs every shower. Gynocamastia is also worsening, I'm not too worried about that though since I was having that organ removed anyways.
I think my next step is to get a blood test and see what the hell is going on.
It's also important to note: ( I was on Minoxidil, but dropped it 3 months ago once I began finasteride. I was expecting it to fall out for a while because of the minoxidil but 3 months have passed and the shedding is not showing any signs of slowing down. I could even argue in my case that minoxidil did more for me than finasteride so far. my patter of loss is weird as well. I was born without temporal hair so my stages are weird. It looks like NW2 from the front but I already have a huge vertex in the back)
Let me know what you guys think. excluding the hair, I'm only about 10k away from having my ideal head that would be complete in the next 3-4 years given I still have my hair.
