No its not, it's interpupillary distance (IPD).. It's the distance between your pupils

and pitch black irises don't exist, only very dark brown ones. also dark irises not only give the illusion of the pupil extending farther in the medial direction, they also give the illusion of it extending farther in the lateral direction, which causes no difference in perceived ipd. this girl is just a cyclops

Yeah u are very right about that, it’s a good point. And yea, I am aware that it’s not possible to have pitch black irises, but it looks like she does, just didn’t bother writing a longer message

But even if it affects perceived darkness bilaterally, I still think it affects the perception of the medial rather than lateral canthus more, and thus the perception of her IPD, because that is the general area we tend to focus our attention on.
