The lateral sclera is the side of the sclera that is closer to the temples (the eye whiteness on the right of the iris in the right eye, and the eye whiteness on the left of the iris in the left eye)
as you can see in unmorphed david gandy eye area, the distance between lateral canthus and iris is smaller than the distance between inner canthus and iris.
Now when we make lateral sclera wider than inner sclera the eye look way more attractive, though it comes at the cost of the distance between the two eyes.
