Brutal voicepill: All the 'relatable' people I've ever liked had good voices

I use to think the lookspill mattered way less for males when making friends because I can recall liking some people in the past who didn't look that great or even had mediocre appearance. But now when I think about it I realize that literally ALL of them were blessed with good voices. Note that I'm not talking about a 'sexy' deep voice, but rather the type of voice that makes somebody sound friendly, or amusing/funny. Voice is a MASSIVE social halo even outside of romantic/sexual contexts.

I would even go as far as to say that voice actually matters MORE than looks if your goal is to simply befriend people. Absolutely nobody will ever like you if have a shitty nasal voice.

In fact, I would go even further than that: Voice IS personality.

You can have 10 narrators read the same lines of dialog and depending on the voice it will come across completely differently. Personality does not exist. Your voice IS your personality.

Also, even if voice is extremely important you still have to actually go talk to people and be friendly. It's sort of like how chad actually has to go fuck women instead of rotting inside his home unless he's literally a giga-chid and women come to him from everywhere.

i have a good voice (the only time a girl has ever complemented me. plus many random ppl have complemented me too and said i should be a voice actor)
and im friendly and helpful to people irl and i still have no friends
mostly because i dont have anything in common with them

The tone of your voice and especially your cadence definitely make up a huge part of how you're perceived. Saying silly things with a good voice and cadence = wow that guy is confident. But that still only works if you're attractive visually.

I would say your face, body, voice, and body language/facial expressions are your personality in the mind of anyone who knows you but isn't super close with you

Exactly why I feel that the shure sm7b mic is so popular in podcasts even for ones with a budget (it's great but not the best around, big podcasts can easily buy a more expensive mic but still keep it), it has a unique voice pattern that makes you sound like you have something interesting to say even if it's complete bullshit.
