Exactly. The way I would put it into more sciency terms is that having (or working towards) a career that requires ambition is a necessary but not sufficient condition for a HVM. So if homeboy is working for years as a janitor at your local high school, you know he is not worth your time period. But even if he does work as a doctor, lawyer, scientist, etc. there is no guarantee that the fail to raise to HVM standards in other ways (e.g. by being immature, short or ugly, "only looking for something casual," etc.

The trick is to make sure you find a man that checks all of the boxes for what you require in a HVM and never settle for anything less!
