Does buccal fat removal ruin facial harmony if too much fat is removed? And if you have a narrow face or a very oblong face is it not adviced?

Terrible surgery, I wouldn’t advice, I’ve had it done.

Why do you regret it? do your features appear larger in comparison to the lack of buccal fat or does your jaw appear narrower and more defined? maybe something with the nose? please lmk

Just ages you, its not the same as having a naturally sculpted look. Plus you need a certain bone structure for it to likely look good. Felt like it sunk my cheeks, since buccal fat is a structural fat and does support the soft tissue of the cheeks. Think of it as a scaffold keeping the midface from descending. Plus removing fat with a high degree of stem cell content doesn’t increase attractiveness, as part of attractiveness is health and youth indicators. Its more of a Looksmin surgery for many, granted for women it looks much worse often since their face needs fat.
Plus often it isn’t the buccal fat thats the issue, but other subcutaneous fat that is causing the bloating.

Often whats the issue is bone structure and general retention of fat/ bloat due to metabolic issues. Buccal fat removal is a cookie cutter tx for a more
global problem.

I would only recommend it as a consideration if you have High cheekbones with good lateral projection, strong masseters, and low bodyfat with a good health regime preventing bloating, with no metabolic issues.

Then potentially you are a candidate

I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and type this out. It gives me a much better idea if I'm a candidate or not. Much love and thanks man. And I concur it does make women appear uglier and overall less fertile. I'm currently 19 years old my zygomatics protrude and are naturally high set. Do you think that if I did a minimal 1.5g to 2g removal it'd look good? assuming I don't go overboard

My jaw is a little weaker from wisdom teeth removal. Do you think that it would enhance that?

In general I wouldn’t recommend getting any buccal fat at 19. Your face will naturally lean out. Your supposed to have bigger cheeks right now. Wait until your 25, 26 and then reconsider. Thats the best advice I can give you without seeing your face.

I’ve had more surgery than most here, so I’m not a coper against surgery, but your face hasn’t even fully developed bro. Give yourself time.

I don’t think it will enhance any weakness in your jaw though since its a soft tissue surgery.

If you do go along with it, Be conservative. Don’t be aggressive. I don’t know the amount of grams. I told my surgeon I didn’t want to look older and I didn’t even want the surgery, he insisted. After surgery he told me he removed a lot of fat and my heart sunk because I told him several times I don’t want to look older. Because my face just tends to be more boyish in general so I know trying to look like something I’m not (masculine chad look) is not the right direction of looksmaxxing for me. Pretty boy aesthetic is my preference.

But also now I know he was just taking advantage of my insecurity which many surgeons do (salesman before doctor). It was an add on procedure to the main procedure I got, jaw implants, which he also botched and I’ve had them removed in the most horrific traumatic manner.
Now, other doctors might have good intentions, BUT they only offer it because thats all they know because of their limited skillset. Sort of like someone whose chin is recessed and doctor offers only a chin implant because they don’t know how to do a genioplasty osteotomy.
