I think we are talking about living on benefits as a lifestyle rather than just claiming some UC while you’re between jobs.

Assume you have to keep records of CVs, cover letters and so on that you’ve sent.

You just are expected to take any job offered and it’s part of your “claimant commitment” or something. I only know about it at surface depth since it’s unlikely I’ll ever have low enough savings to get free gibmedats.

Here in my country, to be qualified for neetbux, all you need to do is apply for 5 jobs a month - you heard that right 5 bullshit LinkedIn quick apply is enough, though you do have to meet a certain point system where you can earn points by either working/interview/studying or more job applications, where you can just spam LinkedIn quick apply to 20 jobs and boom your qualified for ~780 living at home or ~900 living alone every fortnightly. I Used to work only 1 day a week and alongside needbux I was getting 2200+ every months, very comfy lifestyle ngl.

But catch 101, rent here is absolutely ruthless, a 1 bedroom apartment would cost 350+ minimum every week, unless staying with parents rent free, it is utterly unliveable.
