Most south indians don't have bug eyes and have quite deep set eyes. Bug eyes is a curae from the zagrosian farmer population that migrated to south asia. The southerners who have more south asian hunter gatherer ancestry have deeper set eyes and rarely have bug eyes

That’s why Armenoid and Iranid phenotypes have bug eyes it’s because they are high Anatolian Neolithic (Armenoid) and Zagros (Iranian) farmer:
