Porsches don't turn heads at all. Some of the most boring cars on the road. A Maserati coupe or an Audi R8 would certainly turn more heads. Even a Corvette looks like a Ferrari from a distance, so it would catch more attention.

Corvette turns more heads in the US as well. Porsche was literally designed to be a car that is fun to drive and signals wealth, but doesn't turn heads. Which is why they are loved by "old money" crowds.
