Getting to the first 100K is rather difficult, after that, it becomes quite a lot easier with compound interesting being able to show off its true brilliance.

still getting rekt by inflation, those aren't real gains. in fact you will likely be bleeding value

put your savings in equities instead

Yes, that’s what I meant, having large amounts of capital laying in your bank account isn’t the way to go especially with inflation as high as it is.

I suppose it is but investing in ETFs that cover a large swarm of companies in different sectors, countries and continents is relatively safe with higher returns than obligations or leaving it in your bank account.

Unless he enters the casino or goes all in on a certain crypto, which is essentially the same, I don’t see him doubling 500K in a mere 6 months.

perhaps not now, in 2020 that was easily doable. even now 1-2x years max.

Yes but you’d be taking humongous risk, unnecessarily at that, at 500K getting to a million is just a matter of time. Doesn’t seem worth it to me.
