Chew the meat a bit and wash it down with water

I recommend just making a high calorie shake and splitting it up in the day

Yeah mass gainer powders are a convenient way to consume lots of calories without giving you a tummy ache. One 80g scoop of the powder I use is like 312.5 calories. 74% of the calories are from carbs, 19% from protein, 7% from fat. Add homo milk or 2% milk to get more calories in you. The homo/2% milk will give you some more fat in your macros.

You should check your sugar levels and find a good mass gainer cuz most of them are really high in complex sugars

The mass gainer I use only has 1g of sugar per 35.55g serving. But has 25.66g carbs, 6.66g protein and 1g fat in that same serving size. So it gives you the carbs, protein and little bit of fat you need for muscle synthesis without much sugar.

The other mass gainer I like to use has more sugar. 1g of sugar per 27.1g serving. It has a slightly better protein to calorie ratio, which is why I like to use this one. Though when I'm bulking, I don't really need that high of a protein to calorie ratio.

Unless by complex sugars, you mean complex carbohydrates. But you need carbs for muscle synthesis to begin with. And the complex carbs are better for your blood sugar anyways than the simple carbs. The ideal carb-to-protein ratio for muscle synthesis is 3:1. The mass gainer powder I use primarily has a 3.85:1 carb: protein ratio and the other mass gain powder I use has a 3.47:1 carb: protein ratio.

I prefer to dirty bulk anyways. I eat lots of shit but I make sure to get my daily protein in (1.8g protein per kg of body weight per day). I only really use mass gainer powder primarily for carb-loading before workouts. So my blood sugar is probably already through the roof anyways because of the shit I eat/drink after I work out (potato chips, cheese puffs, sweets). lol I used to low-key drink like 12 oz of soda before a workout. But I'm not sure if carb-loading purely on sugar before a workout is optimal for energy. So I prefer to use the "clean carb" mass gainer powder before workouts.

I do this too. I don't really think of it as a way to get more calories because if I were struggling to get calories I wouldn't go to meat for calories, I'd just drink some whole milk or something. But, yeah, it makes eating shit like tuna or chicken breast a lot easier.

The beast way to eat chicken is throw it in ramen soup.

I'll tell you. The secret is to take spices with your food. Spices irritate your gut just a tiny bit which causes a release of acid, bile, and other digestive substances. It's no use eating so much if you just half digest it anyhow. For starters, try taking fresh squeezed lime juice with your meals.

except the "complex" carbs are probably just maltodextrin which is essentially just sugar. not that sugar is bad. all carbs are broken down into sugar before they enter the bloodstream

If anything, I've heard that simple carbs are better before lifting. Because the body can use simple carbs as an energy source faster than complex carbs. So I'm not even sure if the complex carb mass gainer powder I use is actually better for fueling my workouts than drinking my favourite soda. lmfao. It might actually be worse because it probably takes more time for the body to break complex carbs down into useable energy than it does sugar.

This whole carbs are evil trend I see right now seems to be snake oil. The muscle synthesis/retention benefits of protein max out at 1.8g per kg of bodyweight per day according to several scientific journals. I weigh 63.5kg so anything more than 114g protein per day is useless for me. So only 456 calories per day need to be budgeted for protein in my daily diet. The rest of my calories can be allocated to carbs and fats. And the best time to eat carbs is before lifting weights and after lifting weights. And before cardio if I'm doing cardio. I usually only do cardio when I'm cutting.

Maltodextrin is a complex carb in name only. It is digested (which includes being turned into sugar) more quickly than table sugar. And that's probably what's in your gainer.

The only people who need to worry about the evils of sugar, in my inexpert opinion, are sedentary fatasses, so the majority of people.

Chew the meat a bit and wash it down with water
Drink a cup of whole milk with three heaping teaspoons of milk powder to make super milk.

This is the mass gainer I use primarily. https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/mammoth-mass-rich-chocolate-5lb-unisex/6000201371749
"Carbohydrate blend" is the very first ingredient. And Maltodextrin is the first ingredient listed under Carbohydrate blend. After that under Carbohydrate blend there's Rolled Oats, Sweet Potato and Quinoa.

I also like using this as it has a slightly better protein-to-carb ratio though it's more expensive so I prefer the other one. I got it on sale on amazon recently. Though since I am a hard gainer who needs lots of calories to put on mass, the carb to protein ratio on the other gainer is just fine for my needs anyways.
Maltodextrin is the first non-medicinal ingredient.
