Other than milk, eggs, oil, and dates, what are some easily consumable foods that don't require much effort and have a substantial amount of calories.
 
Peanut butter (usually good to mix with mass gainers or protein shakes), lazy bulk with mcdonalds or other junk food once a week or two, raisins, cottage cheese is kind of solid too, bananas and bitter chocolate, oat flakes.
These helped me get noticable and slow weight gain once I added them to my diet, might work for you too, especially for oat meals mixed with bananas and raisins or bitter chocolate chips.
Worked wonders over time.
