He became a navy seal, very successful running career and is a very successful public & motivational speaker with millions of followers. He’s quite frankly changed the life’s of millions of people.
Gotta love basement dwellers talking shit about other’s achievements (or supposed lack thereof) while having none themselves. :feelskek:

Achievements don’t have to results from your job.
Achievements can be mental, physical, financial etc... Also, why are you caging at him being a motivational speaker? He inspires millions while making a shit ton of money as well.

Your thought process leading up to this thread is beyond me. Tell me, how much do you even know about him?

any kind of success needs pretty accurate requirement for its own nature.
let's say you want to create a youtube channel. easy, implementable, needs low budget etc. right? even this bullshit job needs planning, scheduling, tidy know-how etc.
so it's not about "motivation". motivation is a bullshit. motivation is like a magic pill works for everyone for every mindset and every kind of job's success.
it's actually isn't. i hate motivational speakers who has only one success, being a "motivational speaker". because they make people think it's about the thrive, the desire to be succesful. it's just procrastinating and believing motivation makes you go somewhere.

ask yourself what do i want ? let's say being a succesful lawyer. then follow a succesful lawyer, not a motivational speaker.

It’s not a job really but it’s very very impressive the distances (200+ miles) and conditions he runs in if anyone should be a motivational speaker as dumb as that is it’s him

i'm actually stating that is not the problem.
many people actually don't want to be succesful. seriously. it's just not for them.
again, choose a topic and observe the most succesful people who do that job. after that follow what he did. if you don't have "motivation" to do what he do everyday, then basically you don't want to do that job.

Are you conveniently forgetting the guy was a special forces operator and NAVY seal instructor for years before becoming a motivational speaker?

As for motivation, David has never claimed motivation to be the recipe to success, in fact, he’s always said it’s shit. It seems you know less about him than I previously thought.

The guy has many achievements, mentally, physically and does well for himself financially as well.

that's why generally succesful people show always a "success" at every stage of their life. they like to work. they don't need motivation since they really like what they do.

David isn’t a guide to a specific job, he’s there to inspire a shift in mentality for people who need it to reach their own personal goal. He uses his own story to show it is indeed possible to become someone even if you’re no one right now.

If you want to become a sucessful lawyer, you’ll require the drive, discipline and determination to become one first and only then could you actually become one.

OP is retarded, the Dude is a fucking Beast and should be an inspiration for all Incels out there. He went from a 300 pounds fatcel to Chad.

He's a multimillionaire best selling author, Champion Ultra Marathon runner and Former Navy SEAL.

if he really say this as an outlook of his mindset, then i'm wrong about him.
So you actually didn’t know anything about him...

Read (or listen to) his book first and if you have some legit criticism about him after I’ll actually listen.

He only shoots short clips of him running or doing some other exercise while spreading some sort of message, of course you’ll know little about him from watching those.
That’s why you should’ve read or listened to his book before, so you’ll have some proper context and know the overall message he preaches. Hell, even listening to a 1 hour podcast with him on it would’ve taught you a lot about him.

David Goggins (born February 17, 1975) is an American ultramarathon runner, ultra-distance cyclist, triathlete, public speaker, and author. He is a retired United States Navy SEAL and former United States Air Force Tactical Air Control Party member who served in the Iraq War. His memoir, Can't Hurt Me, was released in 2018.

there are a lot of amazing things in his story, like for example:

He was practically illiterate, he couldn't learn anything, he learned by repeating things millions of times in a notebook just because a teacher said ironically that this is the only way for him to be able to. And that he already had a certain age.

At 24 years old he was a 136kg cockroach cleaner. They said it was impossible for him to be a navy seal, even more a black navy seal (which until then only had about 30 that could). He lost weight ULTRA FAST, 48kg in 3 months

he did 3 jobs hell weaks in a row, the only one ever to do this in history.

his story is pretty impressive. And considering where he came from, it's even more impressive. He talks about the mindset he used to do this, its very unique and original.

The guy lives like a monk, he lives what he actually does.

His marathon achievements are all equally impressive.

I tried to summarize everything, there's a lot more. If you want to know more go search on.

This is probably the most retarded post i've seen here.

If you've read the book or did a slight bit of research you could've accurately tell Goggins has the highest mental toughness you'll ever see in your life in a human. Period.

So it doesn't fucking matter what Goggins does, whether it is running ultra marathons or becoming a banker cause he will fucking achieve it if he wants to. This guy is crazy

What users above missed to point out that Goggins got dealt an absolute shit hand at life and overcame it all.

god forbid someday in public he goes apeshit and kills everyone

Okay he's a legit good guy who guide people, i changed my mind.

Sorry
