Fr, not every word should be held to its doctionary defenition. Speed and velocity mean very different things but are used interchangeably. Accurate and precise mean very different things but they are used interchangeably.

Saying “asian” in reference to eace obviously means east or southeast asian. Could a russian person say: “I’m asian”? No. Because russia is its own place. India and pakistan are their own place. That’s why people say “brown” to refer to those groups instead of calling them asian.
