You are the one who is retarded.

Stoploss to manage downside. Either tight or adjust to B/E if momentum continues. No take profit level. Set a trailing stop if the rate of volatility increases disproportionately to price increases over time.

Overextended in multiple tf, hitting a resistance 371-389 failed to break it atm. Big surge in volume, volume will fade soon, profit taking will happen

You don't know. That's the whole point of trading. The price action shows no sign of mean reverting, it's in a trend/momentum phase backed by a lot of macro hype.

If it was truly hitting resistance, the trend wouldn't be so strong. If you're long, the goal is to try ride out intra-trend volatility while keeping the position. So vol should stop you out of the position. Defined "take-profits" in these types of trades is poor optionality. If your downside is protected and upside is undefined; there is no reason to take profit consciously at all.

You have a solid read though I'm ngl. Vol seriously expanded on the very short timeframe. But the overall regime is overwhelmingly trend. Meaning support/resistance type reads generally mean nothing.

It's all about risk tolerance. Good time to cash in when vol expands. But if your downside is truly capped, riding it out is more of a positive expectancy if you want to keep the chance of capturing right-tail returns open.

you’re not wrong but that’s exactly when mean reversion hits hardest, these parabolic moves don’t really show weakness until they do and when they snap it’s fast, it can still push into resistance for sure but it’s already pretty extended and this is usually where late longs get trapped a move back to like 311 isn’t crazy at all if momentum even slightly shifts trend is strong yeah but at these levels strong doesn’t mean safe, it usually means risk is highest here.. nice trade careful though..
