Actually I've never heard of anyone getting caged here, I think you wouldn't get caged here even if you tried, this area (mental health) is so underfunded that I doubt there even are any psych wards - the only ones I've heard of are those that take long term care of severy mentally retarded patients, and its incredibly hard for the families if the patients to even get them into such home as there is very little of them, and they waiting list is very long. You basically have to bribe someone if you want your family member to get in.

Over here if you show any sign of “abnormal behaviour“ aka non NPC behaviour (being NEET, aggressive occasionally, non PC, etc), you get diagnosed with psychosis or bipolar and chucked in a mental facility, and then monitored for the rest of your life.
