It's probably different depending on the person but when I drink 4 strong teas in the morning I'm fully locked in for the entire day. It's actually crazy how powerful tea can be. Nic just gives me a buzz and makes me sleepy. I've quit Nic but It would be very hard for me to quit caffeine.
