Jaw implants have limits and dont always give good resulsts. I have a thick skin according to my surgeon. So Im not the best candidate for implants anyway. So I plan to get a osteotomy before I go for implants. Maybe the osteotomy will give me a good result, so that I wont have to for implants. Both will give me better jaw with.
if theres an option for osteotomy, always go osteotomy because bones in most cases are better than implants except for cases where the implants give better forward projection / 3d effect like zygo implants. for example zygo implants give better forward projection than a zso. this was even confirmed by getlooksordietrying who has done a zso. however for the jawline only lateral projection is important. So osteotomy is better.
