Can a lot of chewing push your molars down overtime?

If you chew/grind too much, you’ll compress your mid face and might get short face syndrome

Hmm but not like just chewing on mastic gum or anything right? What do you mean to much?

no it compresses your lower third and rotates it counter clockwise excessively like @SubhumanCurrycel causing mincraft steve effect we've talked about this before in pm, he likely has bruxism

There's no compression in the mandible. If anything, the mandible will grow slightly because of the compressive forces being exerted.
The midface becomes compressed and rotates, not the mandible. This is why the solution involves rotating and downgrafting the midface.
