Can an orthodontist fix recessed mandible at 15 y/o?

Is it to late at 15 to fix it with some kind of device or do I still have time? I got an appointment on may 8th and Im really worried that he is not going to be able to fix my recessed mandible. Yall got any experiences or any knowledge about that?
