can antidepressants stop working?

i take 100mg sertraline and it usually keeps it under control but past week or two i have felt shit, always empty and despondent and crying more than usual not as bad as before i started taking it when i was suicidal insomniac but still

can a dose become not enough over time? there’s no real way to cure my depression because it’s largely due to being incel. should i get a higher dose? what if i reach the maximum dose and it becomes not enough? bros that scares me if i don’t have this crutch i will die but im not getting better

do exercise, take cold showers, eat healthy dont do drugs

I have sertraline with me.

I noticed that if I already feel decent it would make me feel good. But if I'm feeling like shit itd either do nothing or just make me feel worse and an anxiety wreck.

I imagine it depends on your frame of mind as well jimbo, if you read depressing shit here all day, that might be exacerbating it
