Someone replied with this to a post about overcoming laziness
But I think its actually true
When Im “dopamine detoxing” (no drugs or porn), Im extremely unmotivated, but when my 2 basic needs are met (new/relaxed state of mind and sexual release)
I feel like I can focus for way longer
The only damaging dopamine is social media IMO, theres no end to how much you can scroll
My theory for good work discipline:
-Stims only when you wake up (coffee, weed etc)
- Food after like 6 hours of being awake
- stims while workin throughout rest of day
- deleting any form of social media the night prior, redownload towards end of day
