ipd sets your bizygo potential you can get (from implant or ZSO), so yeah it's quite important to know.

The wider the ipd, the wider the bizygo lips and chin.
So we can say that ipd is the overall face width potential

What do you estimate his IPD? My guess is 63-64mm range, I'll probably get close to that with MSE and chewing if it works, good IPD is crazy important tbh

Hum my ipd is at 67,5 mm roughly (between 67 and 68) using the ruller method and an iphone 8 box to stabilize it in order to make sure it's parallel to the mirror and to the ground at the same time jfl (high autism).
My ipd looks like kinda similar to his on some pic, but on this webcam pic, he does look as if he was around the 69 range like O'Pry (assuming O'pry is at 69).
But it's a bit weird because some people on this forum who really looked as if they had a wider ipd than mine, ended up having only 65 mm using the ruller method...
I'm sure they did it well.... as they closed on eye then closed the other one...
Ipd is tricky for me and that's why i'm entered this thread to find answers just like you.
Have you heard about the iris method ?
