Well capitalism and communism are economic systems and liberalism is an ideology. Personally I'm for moderated capitalism like we have here in Scandinavia because it produces the best conditions for workers while still maintaining global competitiveness.
As for liberalism vs socialism. Probably best not to open that can of worms

Liberalism is the basic ideology of capitalism. It supports a society based on private property and wage labor.
