Liquify isn't the main tool to morph, it's only useful for correcting small details since it blurs the retouched area.

You need to select the area you want to morph and make a new layer from it, then you can adjust with some tools like wrap to reshape it (it will still blur the image, but less than liquify), than you mask it and use a erase to erase the sharp borders with the erase tool at a low % of hardness.

You still need the aesthetic knowledge anyway, something that most people here don't have it, no wonder the majority of morphs look like a Roblox character
