Can anyone read lateral ceph x rays?

I got a lateral cephalometric x ray done for jaw surgery.can anyone here interpret this x-ray?. check if my mandible is recessed?.

Yes you're recessed, you also seem to have a bit of a shitty/reduced posterior airway aswell

You're a bit of a candidate; why don't you ask the people doing your scan? They're much better than me and anybody else on here

Thankyou. I know I'm recessed and the orthodontist agrees but he says that recession isn't severe.theyre gonna give me the results with tracing on January 5th.

Try and see if you're able to request or alter the movements your surgeon ends up performing, orthodontic surgeons often aim for functional benefit only, I'm assuming you're asking here because you want more than functional benefits

couldn't tell you to be honest, the only reason i know how to read your scan at all is becaause I made a thread on radiology and that threw me down a rabbithole

You could try scanning through r/jawsurgery on reddit, find someone that looks similar to you and they usually add what advancements they got
