Dang that’s brutal. What’s the solution for it? I’m 18 thoMaxilla & mandible are recessed. You have a class II skeletal tendency(your upper jaw is ahead of the lower) & your chin(both the bone & soft tissue) is also recessed. Your upper & lower incisors are proclined though so it doesn't look so bad(known as a class II camouflage case). Your airway is fine, what's the ceph for bro?
You will probably need a BimaxDang that’s brutal. What’s the solution for it? I’m 18 tho
Honestly could be worse, looks like you have light bimaxillary protrusion. Bimax, but just get braces for now as they'll need to fix your malocclusion.Dang that’s brutal. What’s the solution for it? I’m 18 tho
And it was for braces/invisalign
Thanks. Yeah for now I’ll be getting braces, but idk why my ortho is saying my maxilla and mandible is ok?? What do you think about getting an MSE and braces after that? And are Damon braces better than Invisalign?Honestly could be worse, looks like you have light bimaxillary protrusion. Bimax, but just get braces for now as they'll need to fix your malocclusion.
They say it's ok since they aren't affecting your function or airway, it's only harming you aesthetically.Thanks. And do I need any hardmax other than Bimax?
Alright, thank you so much for your time. They say it's ok since they aren't affecting your function or airway, it's only harming you aesthetically.
All braces are better than Invisalign, as for MSE can't really tell from just your lateral ceph but if your palette is narrow and V shaped it's a good step.

For hardmaxx, if you can't afford or don't have the time for a bimax(18-36 months), you can always get a genio/chin implant & a rhino to fix an overly convex profile.
Don't be scared man, most people are actually recessed to some degree, the person who'll notice the most is you.Alright, thank you so much for your time.
About my palate, this is how my palate looks. Do you think MSE will affect me aesthetically?
Also how bad is my recession? I’m scared since I got the x-ray. Also do you think my frontal bone is recessed too? As it’s sloped so backwards.
Yeah, I hope I can get some forward growth naturally as I’m a bit late bloomer.Don't be scared man, most people are actually recessed to some degree, the person who'll notice the most is you.
Also the bone is only one part, your soft tissue & cartilage make up your face as well.
But yeah, it is something to improve on that's why you have an orthodontist. Yes MSE will affect you aesthetically although not drastically as you might hope, it expands the maxilla laterally(zygo projection, lengthens lips & nose width ), so it won't change your side profile. Idk what you mean by frontal bone though
