Can bimax shorten face?

One of my biggest falio is that my philtrum is too long (I have a short midface and I dont have a narrow upper lip but I do have a gummy smile). Would bimax make my face shorter more compact via the impaction and the projection lefort 1 grants as part of the procedure? (My ortho gave me green light if I wanna do a bimax btw)

if you have philtrum problems I dont recomend you Bimax. Bi max will mostly impact on your mandible not actually your midface. To make you midface more compact better try some osteotomy if you can or just take cold showers and wear a calithe
