You can have two types of bracers, one that is applying outward force and one that is applying inside force. You should get the one that works synergistically with your tongue's natural resting posting, aka mewing, which is the first one. Otherwise, yes, you would get recessed.

I don't know anything about braces despite planning to get them during the summer

What should I tell my orthodonist? I have a deep bite and some of my teeth are fucking all over the place like my front incisor is pushed forward. Should I ask for damon braces? What if they want to extract, should I ask for an MSE?

same shit with me man if you know dm me, if you can try opting for invasilign. Also just ask your doc hey man are you moveing my teeth outwards or inwards. go for outwards cus if not this will recess your face and thats not good.

jfl i messaged salludon a year ago and he says braces wont mess anything up he said extractions are not good so confront multiple orthodontist and if they go for an extraction ask for expansion ig. But hopefully you wont get extractions and if you do hey bareet got them aswell hopefully it doesnt fuck anything up too bad.
