Can braces help fix my chin placement and Retrognathia?

Google said they could but I wanted to check with people on the org aswell.

Yes,

But an orthodontist wont give you braces which help your retrognathia unless your maloclussion is caused skeletally.

Dental means it’s good right?
It really depends on what you mean by "good"

A dental maloclussion is easier to correcct but if youre recessed your orthodontist isnt gonna help you with that

A skeletal maloclussion is harder to correct but if youre recessed your orthodontist will help with the recession, i.e. bringing the upper or lower jaw forward along with aligning teeth to fix a maloclussion or things like palate expanders - or extracting (Which is pretty bad for your face.)
I don’t have problems with my bite
Then i assume you dont need orthodontics.
