what do you mean with elasticNot an expert, but I think you can achieve such movement with elastics if you're young enough. It won't be a huge change tho.

Yeah, I think their main purpose is to fix crossbite, but can help your jaw growth if you are just a little recessed. If OP has a high degree of recession tho, he should consult a maxillo-facial surgeonthey hurt and get your teeth loose but yield good results
