Can braces / invisalign increase inter molar width ?

Can they increase IMW of the lower dental arch ?

Because i'm getting MSE While both my palates are narrow so i'm wondering if i can "compensate" for the widened upper palate with braces or invisalign on the lower teeth

(Even though my ortho said it's normal to have the upper palate slightly wider than lower)

mse isn't even that good. it doesn't expand the back of the palate

I need the cheekbones width benefits for slightly wider face and possibly 1-2 mm of ipd / pfl gains

+ my upper palate is narrow and the main goal of MSE is wider smile so i need MSE anyways

What??! So that means I have to thumb pull my back palatal for ages to see expansion. Is this true?

Unless your teeth really look badly fucked up or your profile needs BSSO, braces aren’t worth it in my opinion.
