I have natural chubby cheeks even at low bodyfat (>11%). Multiple doctors i talked to recommended me to get buccal fat removal when i sent them pictures. Will i really age worse when i get buccal fat removal or is that just a myth ? And if it does make me age worse, can anyone provide examples ?

Did he make an update on if it aged him ?
i don't really get what do you mean. people lose fat in certain areas as they age. that's the only reason why normies say that buccal fat removal ages you

It can cause aging if you get buccal fat removal while being recessed. Or if you get too much removed.
Many faces that appear to have a lot of facial fat have loose skin because of lack of bone support because they are recessed, not because they have too much fat.
In such cases, the buccal fat is actually providing some support to the skin if anything. If you remove it, that skin loses the support and you sag a bit more. This is not a problem if you have strong bones but excess facial fat.
Don't get buccal fat removal if you are recessed.

I do have a recessed chin (diagnosed) and my jaw could also be a bit stronger

This pertains mainly to recession in the midface

what do you mean by that
Having a recessed chin and jaw in itself does not predispose you to getting aged by buccal fat removal.

It is recession in the paranasal and submalar areas, deep canine fossa, that predispose you to getting aged by buccal fat removal.

I see, but what exactly is Canine fossa ?

I’ve always looked younger then what I was so didn’t really bother me when I got it done. Potentially will age “worse” but I spam all types of anti aging shit and I still look good.

Yes this is true, once I did mine I lost a lot of weight which fucked my collagen and caused me to have some loose skin, where the nasolabial folds are. I’m also a bit recessed which didn’t help.
But am currently spamming anti aging and it seems to be getting better
Honestly it was worth it.

Not all facial fat is aesthetic. It can definitely enhance looks if you have the right face for it

Not only can you age worse, the con’s outweigh the pros tenfold when it comes to asymmetry and other health issues

There is a difference between having a healthy amount of buccal fat and looking bloated as shit

Yeah but it'll disappear with age so what's the point? More years to look younger, haha!

try dissolving subq fat with lipolab first, i have insane subq fat storage i cant even feel my teeth through my cheek at 11% bf, but my buccal fat pads themselves aren’t that big it’s mostly subq
