YES.

Moreover, it can cause it in 2 ways.

1st way: standard. When you move the cheek forward (anterior) while your paranasal region remains the same, you form a crease between the nose and the cheek. This is NOT a nasolabial fold, and ALL people have this more or less. But the larger your cheeks relative to your forward growth, the huger this pseudo-NL will look.

2nd way: non-standard. When installing cheek implants, AFAIK they cut some ligament that holds the cheek fat pad. Then, they need to reattach it. If they reattach it too low, then you will automatically have nasolabial folds formed by the dropped-down fat pad.

I saw your other thread about choosing the right size for implants etc.. Is it purely for monetary reasons you want implants instead of filler?

And another reason - filler cannot create sharp shapes.

In short, if you want SMALL BUT SHARP cheekbones, you are out of luck with fillers. I think so at least. Maybe i just didn't find a good specialist. It is interesting, because i have NEVER seen fillers create truly HIGH cheekbones. All filler cheekbones are always made low-set to medium-high-set (very rarely). I have not seen a single example of the truly high cheekbones created with filler. And this is, i suspect, comes from the fact that filler can add volume diffusely (increase size) but cannot modify the shape of the cheekbone (essentially sharpness).

I also have thick skin, so in my case, fillers are even less effective in creating "shape". But if i wanted sth like this:

I could cope with fillers. But ofc this would be a ton of product, and im not that rich TBH. But maybe i go this route if too afraid to use implants in the end: fillers much safer.

But this (what i want) i cant have with fillers:

Essentially, I want O'Pry cheekbones.And I doubt fillers can give that kind of result.
