Can Clindamycin be detrimental to your skin? (tretionoin cream)

I asked for tretinoin from my doctor for anti-aging, she prescribed me a cream (she said it was the only one in the system) and apparently it also has 1% Clindamycin alongside the tret. I don't really want to go to a dermatologist and pay a billion dollars just for an appointment so I can get regular tret, and then have to go pay for an appointment every time I need it renewed. Can the ingredient clindamycin have a negative effect on my skin seeing as I don't have acne?
