If someone is still at puberty is there any way they fix their downgrowth without surgeries? Could adapting a better head position, mewing and possibly thumbpulling help considering bones are supposedly still maneuverable during puberty?

Not sure if it's reversable

Could better head posture and possibly mewing and/or thumb pulling help? Supposedly your bone structure could still be manipullated during puberty, no?

My understanding is mewing prevents it from getting worse, idk about making it better

Depends on the stage of puberty you are.

What you can surely do is to avoid making it worse than it is, with the hopes of your genes helping you out - exercise, dont mouthbreath and pray to gandy.

Yeah I don't think it's too severe to the point of being a massive failo but I really don't want it to get any worse than it already is :trepidation:

I guess with exercise anything would be good to not let it get worse like sports or the gym or something else right? I didn't know sedentarism could worsen it

I don’t think thumb pulling does anything. Head posture is a given

Oh, so I guess it could help it not get worse but not "fix" it?
Yea for example if you already have a malocclusion you can’t really fix that without surgery but you can prevent it from getting worse

Aw crap, are there any other ways of helping with it or just those habits?

Chewing maybe to increase the musculature and support around the jaws

Alright, I'll try to not make it worse I guess, sucks how there seems to be no natural method to guarantee it to get "better" it seems :trepidation: Thanks for the help
