I’ve always been curious whether using the morph filter in faceapp could actually meet girls from dating apps. Unfortunately I cannot post pics but here are the results (girls who actually came out on a date within the past 2 months). I ghosted some of these girls for reasons such as them bringing friends or me not being invested enough to show up
Faceapp
1. decent-cute latina island girl 6/10
2. Chubby but cute faces white girl 4.5-5/10
3. Slim Russian with brown eyes 7.5-8/10
4. Slim Mexican 6.5/10
5. 19 yr old blonde with blue eyes 6.5 (7/10 if you like blue eyes)
Average result 2.5 meets/month, which is a relatively low success rate compared to better face swapping technology
Next let’s look at reface’s face swap
Reface
Reface has the disadvantage of significantly reducing photo quality after the swap, so I have to use remini to improve the quality which doesn’t always look good.
I did this twice on bumble
Results from November and January:
1. 5’11 Irish girl with bright blue eyes
2. 7/10 white girl with super slim body and blue eyes
3. Mexican 6/10 (ended up ghosting because she wanted to bring friends)
4. 5/10 Indian
5. 4.5-5/10 black
6. 6.5/10 Colombian
7. 4.5/10 Indian
So it looks like faceapp wins when it comes to quality and reface when it comes to quantity. Reface ended up successfully being able to bring 3.5 girls a month off the dating app and into Che coffee shop.
An authentic deepfake made by an actual computer would squash the results of any one click app
