Can facial asymmetry be associated with malocclusion?

My face seems a little asymmetrical to me. I have an overbite and crowded teeth. I will be undergoing orthodontic treatment (to correct my bite). Will this somehow make my face more symmetrical?

bite correction could make it more symmetrical, but malloclusion can cause this partially, especially when chewing. So orthodontic treatment may help, but don't expect much
