Recently I have thought about how the gym can do more harm on someone if they are mentally weak or are already in the depths of genetic hell. Some of the most genetically gifted gymmaxers still develop eating disorders or depression from the gym, either because they think they don't look good enough or they struggle to keep up to their unrealistic goals.
Now put yourself in someone's shoes with a lack of good genetics and below average everything. How do you think they would feel ?
They would already have been ridiculed and bullied all their lives and now they think they can become like their idols in less then 6 months by going to the gym.
That's just not the case , wouldn't they just get worse? Constantly trying to look like their idols with their sub par genetics, giving up the little social life they had, dieting to just look worse, looking at all the roidcels on tiktok ect, comparing themselves to even the most average people in their gym . It would all get to them .
After all the hard work and months of hell they would just loose all hope if even the last resort of going to the gym doesn't work for them, it would leading to deep a depression . Now they are back at stage one or now at an even worse stage.
Some would turn to roids but would that really help someone swimming in the depths of genetic hell ?
-No probably not
Gymmaxxing doesn't work for everyone.
