can hair transplant increase density between existing hairs ?

i can see that most HT results do dense packing in thinning areas

but many people say that the trauma caused by implanting follicles between existing hairs will cause shock loss

does it depend on the expertise of the doctors, implanting method (choi pen , incision ... ) ?

let's say i have this hairloss pattern and want to densify the thinning area

This is a good question. Yes you could pack it but there would be shock loss too so it would fill it in but probably not much more
