90% of high rep posters seem to have some kind of friends on this site and are getting reps for being well known. Users like @Gandy post informative content but barely get the rep that some of these spammers have. It'd be curious to see how having no rep ratio at all would change this forum. I reckon there'd be less attention whoring about.
