can i expect better results from pushups if i'm doing them at 110 kg (compared to 80)?

step 1 - get obese so that bodyweight exercises become more demanding (following simple logic)
step 2 - do those exercises for 3-6 months to gain muscle
step 3 - lose the fat

i don't see holes in this strategy

just do more reps at a lower bodyweight lol u dont need the extra weight just do reps or use weights. but ik u are trolling

this just crossed my mind since i m already fat anyway.

pushups are only a real exercise for men with 15th percentile strength and women, so i'd say adding 30 kg of weight is more impactful than adding reps. no point in doing hundreds of pushups every day, at that point it's better to just lift for half an hour

What’s the height u have rn are u actually fat at 80kg?

i'm 179/110 right now.

mostly been betweeen 80 and 85 throughout my life (pretty bad considering my low muscle mass), but got some serious injuries before covid and couldnt do proper cardio or play ball sports ever since
