I want to start as a hobby and a passion and maybe leave “classic” gym permanently but I dont want to be a twig.

If i had to choose I would choose size, but can calisthenics give me size as well? I can’t really do both bc im hella busy.

Na id stick with weight lifting, its better for gaining mass, or at least easier

Have you guys done both?

It looks fun and gym is so boring
Its fun but requires certain equiment, dedication, balance, and is hard to progressive overload unless you dedicated weeks of continuous training for a slightly harder technique. It is cooler and easier to show off fs. Can build muscle especially for beginners but once your done with your pushups, pull ups, crow pose, etc, its hard to level off of that except for just doing better form and reps, then you would unlock say different variations

Stick with the gym and you will get better at Calisthenics, maybe at a slightly slower rate though.

It's very difficult to hit all muscles with calisthenics though.
he doesn't need to hit all muscles tho to look aesthetically pleasing

calisthenics is more fun, and if you're able to stay more consistent it's the better choice imo

Can it build muslce sze well
yes, until you have to do harder variations to see more signifcant growth, then its kinda skill and balance focused AS WELL as a lot of strength. it builds a very aesthetic physique
