I am still not sure if I want to get bimax due to a few reasons: Price, Wait time for braces etc, Relapse, Botch risk.
However I definitely 100% will be getting genio. could I get a genio first then maybe decide to get bimax in the future? or is it bad doing this order?

no point

it will

sop anti-coping or however the fuck you would say it
Bimax? Yea it would that’s why people always suggest it and glaze it
Unless he’s getting a downgraft of retardedly recessed he should just get genio and use the extra $ for other surgeries

And I think that’s just coping

If he’s only mildly recessed I’d just do genio but if he’s like my profile picture then Trimax 1000000%

so why say trimax is cope when its the best option for prob alot of users

obs would be easier to give advice if we could see your face @keaganken

he got a gummy smile, breathing issues and cant close his lips fully consistantly idk why he hasnt mentioned that. he is a bimax candidate and botch rate would be very very low if he goes to a smart surgeon who doesnt fuck up a simple case like that

if you will get bimax btw you need to look into myofunctional therapy. the bimax will get your jaws right, but wont change your bad habits like moutbreathing, tongue position,... . you should def start now to get this habits fixed like mouth taping while sleeping

I’m not saying Trimax is cope I’m saying it in terms of ROI. If he’s mega rich then Trimax by all means but the genio is what makes 80% of the ascension

what specific reasons for trimax? is my maxilla and other stuff recessed or?
I still believe genio is going to do 80% of the work from the front
But from the side I feel like you have sleep apnea or you will get sleep apnea in the future

yes, and you might acc qualify to get it for free if you have functional problems.

witch looks to be the case since your 24/7 mouth breathing.

your maxilla aint even that bad and you dont need big movements. what makes this look worse is your lips incompetence due to the gummy smile.

That all sounds pretty accurate and good, also slater how would genio help my front? just curious. I will also try get some scans and see if I can qualify for insurance and ill check my airway to see if its bad

try as hard as you can to get it for free tbh

ccw rotation would help my gonial angle but if i got it free then they could fuck my aesthetics no?
if they impact your maxilla to get rid of the gummy smile, both the jaws are getting auto rotated=ccw

Yes you can get it before. The only issue that arises is that genioplasty alone will often give you too much of a genio movement since they are compensating for no bimax, thus projecting the chin as far as they can without botching.

When they go to do bimax it might look too big in proportion to your face now. Conversely if you go conservative on the genio but end up not getting bimax you need another genio or you’ll be very underwhelmed since the advancement of the chin was based on a future bimax. Best to make up your mind first on bimax. The less repeated cuts to the mentalis the better.

I don't think I will get a bimax, I think I will just get a genio. do you think 8-10mm genio would be ideal for me?

If no bimax, yes, I’d be maxing out genio numbers.

The best way to approach this with a surgeon is often not MMs but take a good actual side profile picture and say where you want the chin in relation to your lips and nose. Draw a line where you want the chin point to end up and tell them to do it. Otherwise they will underwhelm you.

could you draw the line for me in the most ideal spot then ill just show the surgeon, I don't trust myself picking the ideal spot

Would need a picture against a white wall + camera needs to be level with your face and not angled above facing down. Make sure in the side profile you aren’t jutting, and bite down as you naturally would.

Id probably recommend your surgeon do some sort of lipo or submentoplasty while he is in there. That + genio gets quite good results on stretching the skin of the jawline.
