Which country do you live in? Maybe you can still get covered if your TMJ is bad functioning, what is likely if you are recessed.my maxilla is okay but my mandible is recessed, making my chin behind my lips and i had deepbite who got fixed because of camouflage
how can i do decompensation ? in my country jaw surgery is covered if you get malocclusion but since jew ortho fixed my bite with camouflage idk if i can get free surgery
How much malocclusion do you need to get it covered under insurance? I have lateral crossbite, posterior open bite, and underbite so I'll be mad af if I have to pay out of pocket.u pay unless you do decompensation and get malocclusion

That’s What I’m aiming for.I had camouflage orthodontics and had to decompensate the teeth to create an overjet for the bsso.
I had to remove two lower premolars and 2 lower wisdom teeth, then retract the lower teeth back to create the over jet.
It is what it is, will take 8-12 months.
so you can then get bimax covered by incurance? That’s What I’m aiming for.
Mh? No. I will pay for everything myself. But my bite is fine. It will be part of the treatment so I can get bsso. I will set the lower teeth back + procline the upper teeth + incline the lower teeth for a bsso advancement as big as possible. Since my bite is close to perfect besides my mild class2 I couldn’t get a bsso otherwiseso you can then get bimax covered by incurance?
