been on 20mg accutane for around a month seeing good results

was just wondering i could pair anything with it to help skin texture and redness, would 20% be too high or should i do it once/twice a week and work my way up.

advice appreciated

Its another active added when your skin is already compromised… not recommended. Use tinted spf helped cover my redness. Hydrating toner always helped me too

Yes you can, I am using azealic acid isotret and taz

Why should he obviously not?
i was thinking that because azealic isn’t harsh on your skin unless you giga use it everyday without a tolerance build up and im having mainly steroid induced acne, which i swear its the best for clearing, helps redness and texture .

I had no issues, I started at 15% a day for my PIE now I use 20%, have seen great results

What are your goals? You wont have acne after your Isotret course. Not worth it imo unless you have rosacea. Tazarotene / Tret is just better for both acne, hyperpigmentation and anti aging

i have slight redness on the cheeks, uneven texture and slight hormonal acne around the jaw/chin.

Worth noting I put it on AFTER my moisturiser, as I have quite sensitive skin so didn't want to compromise my skin barrier.

Also after cleansing on isotret every minute without moisturiser is like hell so I can't wait lol

Is your redness permanent or is it flushing and irritation? I had permanent redness from rosacea and being in the sun a lot as a kid , and vbeam completely cleared it in 2 session.

I was very similar to you

Azaleic will not help with that, you need to get vbeams to cure the permanent redness under your skin. I had it exactly like yours and it only took 2 vbeam sessions for it to go away. Also make sure you have a really hydrating skin routine with spf everyday, you are really pale like me and susceptible to broken capillaries under the skin.

It will most definitely help with the PIE that will be left behind on his chin area.
