Can I still face pull to widen palate and bring maxilla forward if I have a Perminant top retainer wired to my two front teeth?

Used to have a gap so there’s a little permanent wire across my two front teeth

can I still face pull or?

So far I’ve only been using my thumbs to face pull and a belt occasionally
