There is evidence that vellus hair becomes terminal but only after a long, long time and even then not all hair becomes terminal/not everyone has this vellus hair -> terminal hair.
So yeah, you'll notice progress but if you hop off you will lose everything.

You won't lose the hair you already have PRE-minox. You lose all the NEW hair post-minox so if you stop you'll just go back to what you were b4 minox.

Dut and fin stops hair loss due to AGA, and you can slowly grow back some of the hair lost.
Minoxidil makes your hair grow and it grows where there wasn't hair before.
