Can I take tazarotene and accutane together?

Once all acne is gone and I want to fade the PIE,PIH, and I don't want new acne, so I would stay on low dose accutane like 5-10mg daily.

Could I take tazarotene to fade the post acne marks? Or would it be too drying?

Both are retinoids . Accutane is systemic, tazarotene is topical. They work on similar receptors and pathways but I would dose low-dose Accutane (5-10 mg) and use tazarotene only 2-3 times per week, at night. They both will dry out your skin if you abuse them.
